Growing-tuber support
Mechanical support is what allows the production logic to extend beyond small seed tubers toward larger commercial product targets.
Support is applied automatically
When a developing tuber reaches the appropriate stage, a manipulator can place it into an elastic support structure. The support can be repositioned as development continues.
Measurement and harvest remain connected
Support does not exist as an isolated mechanism. It works together with spatial tracking, mass/calibre measurements and selective harvest criteria from the technology map.
